So I got a PO430 Cataylist Efficiency Low B-2 on my 2000 XL1500 5.3L 4wd

You guys recommended first replacing the pass side rear o2 sensor.

I was thinking of buying this scan tool for future problems

And I think mentioned on here it is recommended to buy a Delphi o2 sensor as opposed to acdelco.

here are the sensors

If you click on applications for each it says ES20022 is for front ES20000 is for rear and ES20095 is for either. I was going to look for an ES20000. It would be a great help if one of you could confirm I am getting the correct part as it has to ship a few weeks to canada, and I'm confused why ES20095 could be for front or rear.

The ....95s are for Canada built models. The first two are for US built models. Look on drivers side front door jam if you don't know where yours was made.

If made for Canada market you would expect. You would need the 95s. You should be able to confirm with dealer what o2 sensor they would sell you, then cross reference to the aftermarket.
