If you go with an XL, try to get the 6.2. You absolutely won't regret it.

This peasant has been driving a Chevy Tahoe since 1998. I've been pricing out the 2023 Tahoes and Yukons and just can't see paying $6,000 more for a similarly equipped Yukon. How exactly is the GMC higher class? The Denali, sure, but in the lower trim levels I just don't see the justification for the $5,000-$6,000 price difference between the two.My only choice would be the 6.2. Night and day power difference. The GMC is higher class anyway. Nobody wants a Chevy. Peasant’s.

I've owned five Chevys and would have ordered a 2023 Chevy Tahoe already, but after having fog lamps on my 2021 Colorado, I now want fog lamps on my SUV which are missing on the Tahoe for some odd reason. So, I went over to the GMC site and built a 2023 Yukon AT4 instead, so I could get fog lamps. But the price difference is eating at me.It was a joke triggerbunny. Get over yourself.
I don’t understand either. I own an old 2013 Denali as a beater. It’s a great like new truck but I wouldn’t buy a new GM anyway. I was just busting balls.Triggerbunny....LOL I realize it was a joke. Yeah the 2nd row has 1” more leg room. I drove a ESV long for 6 years and I felt like I was driving a bus and it made me feel like I was an old jewish mom with 8 curly head kids. It was more sluggish as well. The SWB regular size is better on gas as well and easier to park and turn. If your not sure about the long one or regular one there is an app like Airbnb but for cars so rent one of each for a few days than decide. I recommend getting a Escalade which is a better looking truck with the headlights that look like expensive jewelry. You get so much more with the Escalade. Just make sure you get one that you can add the extended warranty only from GMPP or Cadillac care.Tahoes are usually in higher demand and have a higher resale price. That makes the higher optioned Yukons a better deal.
The 6.2s are awesome and the longer wheelbase swallows up a ton of stuff without crowding the passengers. Even the 2nd row has more room on the longer trucks. The longer trucks were less expensive when I was on the hunt for mine too.
