So I'm going to completely do away with the z55 autoride, all 4 shocks and just put in 4 resistors, what shocks should i get and I've heard u need a new rear spring also and thought since I'm getting into it anyway then i should maybe add a leveling kit with a couple inches of lift??

Really? Jeez my nali rode like garbage before I replaced the rear springs. Swayed all over the place and sagged down.

I'd consider that option OP. Moog 81071 (for stock height non z71) or 81069 for z71 coils (higher spring rate and taller, will lift .75-1") are the product ID's IIRC.

Cost like $50 or so.

I'm personally rocking z71 springs that were trimmed down for 35" rear height from ground to fender and bilstein 4600's that I'm pretty happy with. I know that NORCAL has better, though more expensive options if lower is something that you are after.

I did the same on my Denali. Removed air ride and raised it 2" front and rear. I then lowered it 2".

You can do normal shocks (Bilstein 5100's are quite nice) and new springs in the rear with lift keys in the front. I have the lift setup off mine that I used for about a year if you are interested. I would sell it for cheap.
