I just bought a 2014 Z71. I've noticed this low pitched whine at highway speed that was intermittent. I've now noticed that it only happens when I let off the gas. As soon as I press the gas, it stops. Truck only has 500 miles on it. I never had this issue on my 2010 Z71. I'm still running the factory wheels and tires which are now Goodyear SRA's and haven't done any modifications yet. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Thanks Erica,
I was just hoping for an idea for a quick fix. I wasn't looking to get tied up at the
dealership all day. I did make them aware of the issue, but didn't bring it in yet.

Never thought it could be the sunroof. Any idea on what to do to fix it?
BTW, took it to dealer and they said it was tire noise.

You would only get tire noise if you have aggressive tires or they are warn uneven. I have been debating getting one of the sunroof deflectors from ventshade to see if it goes away but not sure if I like how they look. I get the same noise at 65 but I don't hit 65 much because I only live 5 miles from work so it's not the end of the world for me.

On the tire diagnosis... I had the factory 18" Z71 wheels and now have 20" LTZ reps With differant tires and have the noise on both.
