Whipple Charger parts or pictures

Does anyone have any knowledge in this issue? If I’m running 93, do I need the auxiliary?

I can't help you with that one, since I am only familiar with my setup. I'd still try and call John Bond and see what he says about it. It might just be an earlier version of the same part; both have the same 96 350 MAF label on them, so that would suggest to me that they served the same function, albeit it redesigned at some point.

And yes, you definitely need it, you'll have much bigger problems like a holed piston if you don't have it.

Here's a link I found that shows the contents of the Whipple Supercharger Kit for 96-01 GM 5.0/5.7L Vortec Truck & SUV (2WIP57-050) https://superchargersonline.com/2002/05/22/how-to-install-a-whipple-supercharger-system/ . You can see that the part looks like the one I sent you, so the one you have might come from a different year or application. That doesn't mean it can't or won't work, it's just different.
