Whipple Gen V install on my 2018 Tahoe, Finally!

Hello all,
I have been dreaming of having a boosted LS (I know I actually have a LT) for years. I finally got the funds together to purchase a Whipple Gen V 3.0L kit and installed it. It runs great and I couldn't be happier.

If anyone is planning to get this kit, there were several issues I ran into during the install (Parts that were not shipped with the kit but should have been, Things that needed to be modified to fit, etc). Whipple is great and overnight things they're missing as I discovered them missing.

I have mounted a cheap Jungle site Oil separator can on the Driver side fender. The picture with the heater hoses is where the instructions tell you to bend the inner hose, but you need to bend the outer as we'll. This is after I had it all done but kept smelling coolant after driving so I took these hoses off and bend the outer pipe also to get clearance. As you can see its a very tight fit to the firewall.

I have seen 8.3 PSI max so far. wonder how much its suppose to make with stock pulley.

Oh, I also did a Vacuum pump delete. Removed the pump, inserted the two GM fittings on block. I then bought a like 2012 camaro Brake booster hose for the check valve. I also
purchased a random GM brake booster hose for the bends and clamped it all together. Brakes feel great.

Oh and the DEI fire sleeve over the fuel lines is to try to keep the fuel as cold as possible. I saw on Engine Masters that cooling the fuel made power. It may do nothing, but it makes me feel like I did what I could.

He makes the pod. replaces the factory corner vent. Really nice work

I have 2018 Premier (RST), 6.2 with AWD. Stock engine, only upgrade was whipple kit with the CARB legal tune. They turn off AFM in software, but stock lifters amd cam are there.

The whipple kit is smog legal for completely stock setup. Original muffler, cats, they do provide a K&N drop in filter
