Changed the oil pressure unit today. Got the old out and the new in without too much trouble. Didn't disconnect any fuel or vacuum lines. Simply got the socket down in there with a universal joint and extention. Started back up after, and gauge is showing good, but I have a little whistle every time u hit the gas. If I'm really gentle, I don't hear it, but a little "goose', and the it is. Anybody got an idea?

Sounds more intake-ish

I kinda thought so too because it precedes the rpm increase. Then I thought maybe a little vac leak somewhere, like I leaned on a hose while I was laying up there, reaching for the sender... Really hard to pinpoint because it only happens for that split second. Had my daughter revving it for me to try and find it. Lightweight kid had to go to bed, so now I got nothin'. Lol

Any sort of vacuum leak or unmetered air entering the system usually is noticeable listening to and feeling the engine. There's not many vacuum lines on our engines just take a can of brake clean and start to lightly spray them and listen to the rpms if you really think you have a vacuum leak.

Play with the air intake duct a little and see if the noise changes at all since you were laying over it.

I messed with the intake a bit because that was my first thought, too. It's an Airaid. Didn't seem to affect it. Maybe I'll pull it off and put it back just for kicks. Thing is that I didn't really lay over there, I came in from the drivers side fender.
