Whistleing Sound when accelerating

Hey Guys,

This weekend, I noticed a high pitched whistle when I was accelerating. The next day it stopped and I haven't heard it again.

I'm a little concerned. It's an 07 Tahoe with only 38k on it. Anyone ever had this problem? Any ideas what it could be? Calling the dealer tomorrow.

I noticed it also. Sounds like it was coming from the transmission?? If your dealer gives an answer, please post it.

Is it coming from your speakers? Turn off the radio completely and see if it still continues.

do you have a sound system? if you do, it might not be grounded properly.

Mine does the same, I heard it could be the alternator.

I said something to my dealer about it and they blamed it on my aftermarket intake system...what a crock of.....!

hmm...my guess is its probably just a whistling sound while accelerating.
