Whistleing Sound when accelerating

Also have anoise when under light to moderate acceleration and its not the nice rumble of the engine. No aftermarket intake here though

Its the Intake airbox. Had an 05 Denali with the same problem.

does it make the infamous 'WOO-WOO' sound???

actually this isnt to far off. One car in our shop had a whistle noise on accel. Turned out to be the muffler. Had a bad weld or baffle. Other than that, check intake hoses. Maybe one is loose or cracked hose

Hey Guys,

This weekend, I noticed a high pitched whistle when I was accelerating. The next day it stopped and I haven't heard it again.

I'm a little concerned. It's an 07 Tahoe with only 38k on it. Anyone ever had this problem? Any ideas what it could be? Calling the dealer tomorrow.

My 07 Tahoe does the same. Did you ever hear what is really causing this? My brother-inlaws Yukon did the same thing on acceleration. Sounds like a referee whistle on the soccer field right?
