just got done washing the truck, so it sat off for about 30min. started it up no smoke.then check radiator no coolant loss. i know i should be okay with this but im not. there is something wrong but i cant trouble shoot it. yesterday after i did all the work i drove it around for about 2 hrs. i am just at a loss for ideas, im gonna let it sit for a few hours and see where im at. but in the meantime any ideas are appreciated.

did you spray down the spider or anything with any kind of cleaner? this is exactly why i went ahead and did the lower intake gaskets as well.

if it was me i would go through all the plugs and check for signs of water, keep an eye on the radiator, and if nothing on the plugs i would drive it and keep an eye on it.

thanks procomp, i think ive narrowed it down to a few things; slightly warped head(s), deteriorating head gasket, or a small crack. how i came up with these conclusions you ask? well when the truck was cold i had the coolant in the exhaust, when it was warmed up nothing. so my first order of business will be to start it up tomorrow see if i have smoke, the truck will be plenty cold. If i dont get smoke i will call it good and monitor it. If smoke occurs the valve covers will come of and do a head retorque. so this is my starting point, it will be a few days before im completed with these steps due to wanting to tq the heads when they are cold

ok so the truck sat off for a full 24 hrs before i started it. Started it up..... NO SMOKE.. i have done alot in the last few days, cleaned a bunch of stuff, ect, ect. i dunno maybe somehow coolant got somewhere but i cant do anything if it doesnt do it more than 1 time. i will monitor it. i did how ever pulled all the plugs and none of them showed signs of water ingestion.
