We all drive the same trucks lol I know where the tank is and what coolant we use. But when you have a leak, it can end up anywhere in spraying distance. I had a loose water pump pulley bearing, so when coolant leaked, it got onto the pulley and got sent in every direction. And when coolant sits and dries, the residue does not remain orange. ‍Just my experience, yours may vary.

Lol, not coolant. it's a 8 year truck it's dirt and crud, a little elbow grease and it will look like new again.
btw coolant tank, heater hoses, etc. is on the other side of the engine compartment and dexcool is ORANGE color.
The newer 21+ do have the coolant tank on the drivers side

what you are seeing in his photo I can 10000% assure you is not a coolant leak. It is dust and dirt and crud
