white z71 steps?

Well i finally found a replacement set of z71 steps and moulding (thanks Wyattz71) since the previous owner removed mine for whatever reason. Now my question is im wondering if anyone has seen a white z71 with the steps painetd white but with the step pads still black? Or a poll, White or stock black?

never seen em painted white before, it would probably look pretty good but it would be too much maintenance to keep em clean looking i think. ive seen some that have been painted glossy black and someone powdercoated them a charcoal grey which looked pretty nice but it blended in with the plastic moliding along the bottom of the truck too much.
i was sort of getting the urge to spray some truck bed liner on em and a buddy was offering to powdercoat them for me but i couldnt make up my mind on a color so it never panned out.
do it up, you can always just spray em black if you dont like it afterwards, itd be something different and keeping the pads black would look pretty cool

Thats what i was thinking, im going to attempt to reattch the moulding tonight and ill spray them as well, then maybe ill get some pics and see what everyone thinks then

what you think? keep in mind truck is dirty and steps are fresh so colors look off a little

Get them powder coated white, they look good.

they look sweet white! BUt i agree, it'll be hard to keep them clean.

I like em white. Ive wanted them for my Tahoe too.
