Just curious. If i am getting one i would like to do it instead of paying someone 500-600 to install it. How hard are they to do?

easy to do with proper tools and knowledge.
if your very mechanically inclined and can read and understand instructions, then ya, have at er.
biggest saftey thing is unloading the torsion bars to remove keys. i recommend getting the gm tool to do it. theres really no other safe way.
Have a friend help with the whole procedure, they will come in handy. And i stress on proper torque on everything.

did mine myself, in a public street (not a garage or even my driveway). Replaced my balljoints, and all my steering linkage, as well as my wheel hub assemblies and calipers. As 3-lot said the biggest pain is unloading/loading the t-bars. I rented a balljoint press from autozone and it did the job, but i bent the clamp (still got my deposit back though).

^^ also the differential took one day to get in because one bracket was bent or "off" by 5/8 of an inch. now that was a PITA

Grab a case of beer and a friend. You can have it done in a day.

It is not horrible. Tools are important and extra hands is a huge help. I had a bunch of my dads friends help, they build race cars and they are always amazed when working on a lifted 4x4...it's neat to them

+1 to everyone

Tools - read your manual, what do you need? (think outside the box here)
Time - depends on your lift and how involved it is

Which kit did you go with 992door?

He may be gay and lower it :bawl:

note: No offense to people w/ lowered OBS 2 doors, I just think Cam's would look better lifted.

Edited for a misspelling I just now noticed.
