I know you asked about 26s but my 20s don't ride well at all. I love the look but rode 420 mile round trip this weekend and trying to that Thang was hectic to say the least!

PB1

20's did not ride well??????? What is wrong here? Bad alignment, tires or wrong air pressure?

My 20's with the OEM spec tire (Bridgestone Dueller HL Alenza, 275/55R20), proper allignment and air pressure ride like a dream!

Ray,

I had a similar question not too long ago, take a look at my thread in regards to this subject:

http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33613

I have now decided to run on 32 psi COLD (truck parked over night) ALL AROUND and it seems to work just fine for me.
Gas mileage went down a bit according to the computer, but I prefer a good tire wear and not get the extra mile per gallon.

Hope this helps.

iv never drivin n my hoe on anything less than 24"z....b4 the hoe I drove cadillacs (97 & 2001 seville), and Im pretty impressed with how comfy the ryde is n my hoe. daily driver (2002) wit 129000 miles, stock suspension, but 1 thing i will tell u is, if u ryde on cheap tires, (sunny, diamond-back etc) it makes a whole hell of a difference. Pirelli scorpions no prob. Iv been rydin 26"z for a yr & several months now, again on pirelli scorpions. been to florida classic (orlando) every yr driving from atlanta georgia. I drive to huntsville alabama twice a yr as well. most folks that ride n my truck r surprised wit the ride as well. jm 2 cents. :rocking:

I have 24s, take multiple trips a year back home. So from Florida to South Carolina. One way is 579 miles. So about 1100 every trip, about three/four a year but it rides fine to me. I mean you get use to having the 24s there. Yes when I had the stock 16s it rode better and got a little bit better mileage. But all in all not that bad.

I've had 22s 24s 26s 28s an 30s. Depends on tires and suspension setup for the most part on how it will ride
