I noticed while driving on the highway there is a clicking/crinkling noise coming from the engine area. Im guessing its the injectors, but it happens when I give the car gas. When I let off the gas it stops after about 3 or 4 seconds. When the car is stopped this noise is very prevalent, and like I said maybe the injectors or the spark plugs sparking? Is this normal and does anyone else have this?

Useless info: GM specs call anything over 4PSI of oil pressure to be good.

oil weight is 5W-30 which is what is reccomended and its royal purple synthetic. This shouldnt be the problem because I have heard the nosie with different brands and weights. The reason I was wondering is my car is running funny, meaning it just seems bogged down, so I was thinking maybe it had to do with the plugs or the injectors

The other day I was messing around under the hood and I heard a loud clicking. I traced it to the fuel pressure regulator that is mounted on the fuel rail on the drivers side. There is a small plastic line that attaches to the intake manifold. This line was split and I replaced it. It still clicks but its not nearly as loud. You will have to remove the engine cover to gain access to this line. It might be worth it to just check this since its easy to look at.
