I'm usually just a lurker on here, checking out threads and learning. But I'm very excited about my new ride and decided it was time to share. I had a 2007 suburban Lt2 which I loved, but it was starting to have some issues, the biggest being rust. My wife and I decided it was time to trade it rather than invest the money into fixing it up. I am currently deployed with the National Guard and was planning on seriously looking once I got home in a few months.
Well I go on Skype the other night and my wife surprises me with this 2011 Denali xl sitting in the driveway. Needless to say I was wicked happy. I've dreamed of these since they came out in 07. Denalis are somewhat rare in northern new hampsire, and the xl version is really hard to find.
Its a 2011, 2 owner with 93000 miles, all service records, and it was certified used when the previous owner bought it. I'm not going to post a ton of pics, it's your typical Denali right now. Once I get home I will be leveling it out so I can fit the rims and tires I had on the suburban. And I'm going to be upgrading the exhaust at some point, but other than that I'm going to keep it with the clean factory look.
Here's the 07 I had

Nice upgrade :waytogo: IMO the stock rims the Denali has on it now have a better look than putting the rims from the suburban on there  I'd just leave those rims on there or find some 22" factory reps.

Yeah I'll probably end up trading the Konigs for a set of stock gm wheels to use in the winter. Those wheels are mint and never seen snow or salt. I have to check out the chrome ones once I'm home, I'm suspecting they aren't in the best shape after 4 new hampshire winters. Maybe I'll have the wife give me a look at the rims the next time we skype

From Maine Congratulations on your new ride, and Thank You for your service safe travels. My two cents on the rims I too would keep the current rims and maybe find some winter ones

First to reiterate Pink thank you for your service no one can say that enough to all those in uniform. Second I just had to look where you were from and post as you said "wicked" which is usually associated with Maine where I and apparently Pink are from. Third congrats on the ride and the wife being a hip hip lady man. But my opinion on the wheels is I like the burb ones and don't exactly care for the stock ones,I think the other ones would look better but also think I would wait since winter is almost upon us. Already had spitting snow one day and sleet another this past week.

Thanks for the responses.
I heard snow is coming, can't wait to see it again even if I'll be freezing my ass off since I've gotten used to the 120 degree weather over here

I feel the need to thank you for your service. I Am Canadian but You putting your self in harms way is a tuff job, Canadian or American Your amazing.
You got a awsome wife KEEP her. Very kind of her to do that for you. And SHE has great taste in the vehicle she chose for you too. On the rims I like the stock ones on the Denali and you do have nice after market ones on the burb. hard choice which rim is nicer.
