Trying to find out if the z71 springs from the 2007 and newer body style will work on my 01? And if there is a difference if they are from a tahoe or Suburban. The GM part # is 15234633. I'm removing my autoride and putting new Bilstien 5100's and I want the heavier payload springs on the rear. Any help would be much appreciated. Not having much luck searching.

Z springs are stiffer to handle off road situations. It is not a towing spring exactly. You should look into airlift 1000s too.

Pedders makes a real towing spring.

I have a trailer that I pull occasionally and I don't want the rear to squat to bad when I have load.
