Will 07-up rear z71 springs work on my 2001??

They work! They weren't much taller physically than mine but the are new and I put them in. I can always add the air bags later.

I just put a set of these with the shocks to match on my 04. The springs were bat 1.5 inches taller than my stock springs. The coil itself is a bit bigger around a tighter wound. Mine seems a little softer than stock spring and huge shocks that were on it

I put some 07+ z springs on my 02, I too tow, occasionally and roughly 6k lbs. Very slight rear drop due to tongue weight. It's not enough that I would add air springs too. Actually loaded down it handles much better than empty. Hth.

Did the springs give you guys any lift at all? I've been thinking of swapping mine out too cause the stock ones feel a little soft to me.
