Will 15mm offset rub on 09 Yukon Denali

Hello, first post. Sold my 08 Sierra Denali last month and got into an 09 Yukon Denali. Cannot have 2 rides in a row with the same 20" Chrome wheels can I?

So, I'm looking at the 22" KMC Slides, was going to wrap them in 285 45 rubber. The slides are offered in 2 offsets, one is 38mm and the other is 15mm.

If I understand correctly the 15mm is going to stick out of the wheel well 23mm more than the 38, which is about 16mm more than the stock 20" chrome 6 spoke wheels which I read are 31mm offset.

The suspension is stock and I don't plan on lowering it.

Do you think the 15mm will rub at all?

The Yukon Denali is black because the Sierra Denali was white. I am looking at getting the chrome version of the wheels.

we also need to know the width of the original wheels vs the width of the new wheels

The new KMC wheels I am looking at are 9.5"

offset is the distance from the centerline of the wheel to the outside rim edge. Your new wheel is 1 in wider so 1/2 of that or 12.7mm is to start with where the wheel will sit. Add to that the difference in offset between the old wheel and new 23mm less.

With the new wheels 15mm offset the outside edge of the wheel will be about 10 mm less not more, that's only 1/2 in.

Now you have to worry about weather the inside edge of the tire and wheel assembly will clear the brakes and shocks. You need to now compare the tire width of the old vs the new.

Thanks for the clarification, I had the offset backwards. Sounds like the 38mm is the route I need to go. 15mm offset would be if I wanted to put it in the weeds! Which I don't, but may end up lowering it a little...
