Will a 05 a/c control unit fit a 04?

Hey guys, Will a 2005 digital climate control unit fit the older "slider" type control units like in a 2004 model Tahoe?

I have an 04 z71 that has the digital climate control unit so I wouldn't see why not.

I believe the plugs in the rear are different and it would be more trouble than it's worth to convert them to fit..

So we are 50/50 here. Ive done the search and some say yes and some say no. I see one guy who has an 04 that has the digital unit, maybe some was installed on 04's during the transition to 05. Im almost certain all 05's have them.

Best info right there. I was just throwing it out there that mine had the digital one, probably the z71 package or some stupid shit like that.
