Hello All,

I'm new to this forum, and I'll Be purchasing a 2008 Black Yukon SLT this coming week. It has the plain black upper and lower grille insert. I would like to put in an oem Denali upper and lower grille, but the dealer said it won't work. They told me they could get the oval shaped chrome grille from the chrome package, but not the Denali. I've read a couple conflicting threads and websites, about new lights needed and other parts, so I'm looking for a conformation that it can be done as a bolt process with no other mods needed. I'm sure this has been discussed over and over, but I would like to get these grilles coming if it's doable without other parts needed... Thanks

It can be done.

It has been done.

I am about to do mine soon.

There are no bolts, only clips...... that break if you are not careful.

Your dealer is a dumb ass like most GM "professionals".

So, it is just a take out the old grille put in the new grille procedure with both the upper and lower grille with no other changes required.

Yes. You need to pull the front bumper clip to make life easier and be able to pull it without breaking any clips.
