Will escalade AWD work in a tahoe?

I need a new rear diff for my 13 tahoe and wanted to regear (I'm on 37s), I found a 2007 escalade EXT selling a newly rebuilt rear axle, and newly rebuilt from diff, both with 4.10s.

Will the front diff work on my tahoe? IIRC the escalade ext is AWD not 4WD. Is the rear axle compatible? I would think the rear would be the same but will the AWD front work?

There are internal differences to the AWD front differential besides the right side. The rear axle would be the same 8.6" as yours.

Sure you want 4.10 gears and not 4.56s to work better with the 37s and take the strain off the transmission?

Have you heard about the 9.5" (AXN) semi-floater rear axle that bolts right up to your Tahoe?

4.10s will already have me at 1900rpm on the highway. 3.56s would have my gearing almost equivalent to stock (for example, stock 3.08s on 32s at 1700rpm in 6th gear would be 78.84 mph, while 3.56s on 37s at 1700rpm In 6th gear would be 78.81) So I do not want to run anything above 4.10. And there's a man in my town selling a newly rebuilt (little to no miles) rear axle assembly with a good locker and 4.10s for a reasonable price.

4.56s. 4.10s would be an improvement over 3.08s.

A great many who go through with a gear swap selects steeper gears than 4.10s with that big a tire.

How do you fit 37s under a Tahoe?

As I said, 3.56 gearing would bring my gearing to about stock level. 4.10s would have me at 1900rpm on the highway, and 4.56s would have me at 2100rpm doing 76. 2000-2500rpm is where my truck is the loudest in the cab, being straight piped without cats (offroad use only) 2100rpm on the highway all the time would be incredibly noisy, because the exhaust hits that right frequency to be loud af inside the cab between 2k-2500, no lower no higher.
Also, 4.56s would sink my fuel mileage to nothing, as I currently get 15.5 on the highway even with an iffy intake manifold gasket and brand new 37s aired to 50 instead of the reccomended "max load capacity" pressure being 80psi. 4.56s would have my mpg in single digits, and my truck accelerates decent enough on 3.08s. having the extra get up and go of 3.73s or 4.10s would be great, but I think 4.56s is a bit overkill as I'm not usually extreme offroading. 4.10s will have plenty of acceleration and offroad performance for what I use my truck for. The biggest thing I tow is either other cars that are broken down or stuck, with likely the occasional atv or utv trailer in the future.

And the biggest reason is that I'm pretty low on cash, and I have the opportunity for a great deal on my hands with a brand new set of 4.10s with a good high quality locker instead of the explosive g80, on an almost brand new axle with not a spec of rust. Very rare for facebook marketplace around me

And I have a rough country 7.5 with a decent amount of fender trimming (nothing too crazy) I only rub at full lock in reverse, but I can turn 85% without rubbing.

Steeper gears will improve your city mileage. Depending on your setup, they may or may not decrease your highway mileage.

Consider this, with steeper gears your load on the engine is less at a given speed.

Having said that, those axles and 4.10s are not the best thing you can do but better than where you are now, go for it.
