Will running oversized front shocks cause problems?

I'm planning on doing this 2" lift/level kit in the future when I can save for tires and wheels. I need to replace my front shocks now, though. Will buying the bigger shocks (these to be exact) now cause any issues? Just trying to save myself from buying stock size now and replacing them while they're still good if I'm able to run the bigger size now. Thanks!

Yes they are made for 0-2" of lift. Your first link isn't working it shows some type of rear tail light

The 0-2" of lift is what confuses me. 0" of lift should be stock, right?

That leveling kit comes with shock extensions to be able to use factory length shocks...

To answer your question. Yes you can just replace the shocks for now and deal with the leveling kit later when you get tires.

You can also get # BIL24-185783 for the rear paired with MOOG z71 replacement springs if you don't have a z71 package truck. 2" Coil spacer is optional.
