Will These Tires Fit

I found a set of Toyo all terrains on the cheap. I was wondering if they would fit though when I get my leveling kit and spindles in. They are 355/60/20. I am going to use the NNBS 20s still for them.

It would be a super super tight fit. That is almost a 37" tire, and pretty
wide for a OEM wheel

I wasn't sure since my current tires are 275/55 and it is only 60 series so I wouldn't think it would be that much wider.

im running a 305/40/22 and it is a tight fit. My truck is also lowered 2/3 I had to cut the rear wheel well to keep them from rubbing.

I'm not lowered any more. I will have lift keys and lift spindles in this week.

The 60 is actually referring to your sidewall height, which is the percentage of the tire's width which is the first number in mm. So 355mm is 13.95 inches wide. So 60% of that is 8.37 inches, which is your sidewall height.so if you multiply that by 2 and add 20" for the wheel diameter, you have the tire height.

So that tire is pretty much 36.75 inches tall and 14 inches wide. Just thought id share my knowledge as a tire guy.

Because of the offset on OEM wheels, it'll also be harder to go with a bigger tire like that, you run into problems with the tire rubbing in suspension parts or the inner wheel well. I think you'll be much better off with a 325/60/20 or a 35-12.50-20.

Thanks for the information. I did a comparison using discount tires website. I know that I would be getting at least 2" more in tire height. So I guess I need to call around to see if someone will mount them for me.

Ok I will look into that. I wasn't sure if the 12.5 would work.

I honestly don't think those tires will work well with OEM wheels, let alone fit on the Tahoe. I guarantee you those tires on your OEM wheels will rub on the suspension. 14 inches is really wide for a 8.5 inch wheel.

The height isn't really the biggest issue here. It's the displacement of the tires on those wheels. Maybe call a Discount Tire, America Tire, whatever it is in Cali, and see if they can test fit something for you to make sure it works before you spend money on something that may be more work than you think to be able to fit, such as wheel spacers etc. I work at Discount Tire so I've had this happen on tons of trucks that come in.
