The full write up and details of the CadiMAX “Carbon Chrome” edition is posted on diesel place. My username there is Longhorse.

I have not installed the magneride shocks yet. I’ve got it torn apart to do head studs and a compound turbo set up.

but here are some pics of the shocks put together with my custom HD springs and pigtails pinned into a connector that is compatible with OE GMT 900 strut plug.

I had a nice read on your CadiMax(zilla) build. Can't wait to see how the Magneride behaves on your Escalade.

Are you using the components from 07-14 or 15-20 Magneride. I'm looking to see if the later of the two are x compatible and if one is better than the other. All four corners need to be replaced on our 09 Escalade. As usual looking for an upgrade to sneak in a regular maintenance.

Any updates to this? My 2006 Esky needs new shocks Z55 and compressor. I am looking for the most soft plush ride, and I have both Z55 and Z95 on my radar, if its all plug and play?

This is the email I just got this morning from Arnott regarding the Z55/Z95

May Fleming [email protected] said:
Good Morning,

The AS-2708 is correct for the Z55, and you are correct on the P-3242, as well. I am very sorry to hear that someone said something so misleading to you! There are big differences in the options. The MagneRide shocks are really neat technology!!! They have magnetically charged particles in the shock fluid which deliver a very smooth ride and balanced ride – something reminiscent of the old school GM cars. That technology has since been adapted and used to create prosthetic limbs for people.

The AutoRide is a great suspension package too, but has different electrical connections on the shocks for installation, and does not have the magnetically charged particles.

Thank you,
May Fleming

2 different people at Arnott saying contradicting things..

I dont know where Robert works at in the Arnott industries, but May Fleming is just a receptionist, so I do wonder about her expertise..

There’s a huge gap of info between the two. The only real source willing to break it down would likely be Arnott as they manufacture their own and reengineer them.

Did you mean to say "Magnetic suspension by Delphi.."?? I have never heard of Bose doing anything with shock absorbers on automobiles before.

I am contimplating buying some Z95 shocks a ran across for a good price. They are used, and came off a 2014 Esky, with low miles (40K), for 200 bucks.

Have a couple questions for you @Doubeleive
I am going to try and put these on my 2006 Esky

The dimensions are only 1/4 inch different in overall height, and 1/8 inch in expanded/collapsed length. So I am not worried about anything here.

They are generationally different, does this affect what you are trying to accomplish? These would be going on a generation that is different than what you have (NBS vs NNBS), any affects here?

Trying to help the community as a whole, if the information I would get from this would not help you in what you are trying to accomplish, and others involved on the thread, I might consider going a different route.

Anything I am not thinking about that would affect your goals?

I still cant understand why the Z95 shocks are cheaper than the Z55 shocks, being that the Z95 shocks are supposed to have more engineering and science to them.
