Can anyone confirm part numbers
140-8992 and
140-9407
will fit a 2018 Yukon Denali? Those are the part numbers for a 2016. When I called Wilwood, they indicated that they didn’t test the product for fitment on the 2017 or 2018. Wilwood suggested I reach out to GM to see if there has been any change in the hub or knuckle for 2017 or 2018. Not gonna lie, made me think about Brembos at all four corners but the rear Brembos are hard to find and much more expensive than the Wilwoods.

This is really easy to figure out... Find the OEM part# for the stock brake rotors and calipers for the 2015-2016 MY then see if GM indicates they are compatible with the 2017-2018 MY. If so, then there would be no reason for a fitment issue.

Brakes are very common low cost high margin replacement parts for GM to sell and make money on. In order to do that you keep material and tooling costs down. I would be highly surprised to see a change in the replacement brake parts between 2015-2016 and 2017-2018.

Great suggestion CMoore. I’ll likely do just that.

Not always true... I bought a front set of SSBC brakes for my 2016 4x4 and they said they fit according to SSBC website and GM didn't change the brakes between the years. The knuckle did change, but not enough the change the stock brakes. The larger rotor would end up hitting the knuckle. SSBC pulled the parts of their website. This was all last summer. I'm not sure if they changed the design since.

I had Wilwoods on my 2010 Denali and my 2013 Denali XL, great stopping power for these land yachts.
