Having the strangest issue with my passenger rear window. The window stopped coming down so I took it to the shop and they replaced the motor. It worked fine for a few days and stopped coming down again....took it back to the shop they tapped on the door panel and it came down. Has been coming down fine for a few days and now it won't come down again and this time tapping the panel is not working. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance.

Sounds you like you have a short in there somewhere. I would take it back to the shop and have them look for a short in the wiring around the motor.

What kind of shop would think tapping on the door to start a window motor is a fix? Did you ask for a refund or for them to fix it right?
If it were me, I wouldn't take it back to a place like that, I would rather eat another bill at a more reputable place.

Yeah, take it back and tell them to fix it right, free of charge.

Had this exact issue on my 01 Tahoe too, for me it was the connector on the motor, I just opened the pins with a flathead screwdriver (have to disassemble the connector to get to them).

Been working fine for the last year :)

My window stopped working too i replaced the switch and motor/regulator. Still nothing im wondering if the pins need to be fixed. I tested my pins and they were at 11 volts not running and 13 volts while running. I would think with how much i was moving stuff around they would be knocked into place but still nothing.
