30%-35% wil match pretty good. The problem is the rear glass is a "privacy" glass and has no reflective properties what so ever. So it doesn't keep heat out or block the UV or anything, it's just for privacy. The tint you are putting on the front will do both.

Interesting. Now I want to get tint over my rear factory tint.

Sadly not worth a fix it ticket to me to get the fronts done... maybe something very light...

I saw a car with the front windshield tinted DARK recently. Made me lol cuz I knew that wasn't gonna last long. Wonder what he was thinking!?

I had the windshield of my GTO tinted 35% for a few years before I traded it in. Only had trouble once and he couldn't figure out how to write a ticket for it since he couldn't latch the test meter on the windshield so he wasn't able to test it, no test no ticket. Here in Ohio only the state boys care about tint, pretty sure they are the only ones with meters. I will say a light tint on the windshield made a world of difference in keeping the interior of that car cool in the summer. I'd at least get a top strip on your windshield, even a 8-10 inch strip will make a hell of a difference in darkening up your truck if you match the % of the front tint. Definitely close the sunroof shade when you park if you want to help keep prying eyes out of your truck.
