Window Tint Percentage

20% winkcos tint on mine, really helps with the heat compared to regular tint.

5% front windows double 5% on everything else

I LOVE your state!! Mine wont allow the 5% in front windows

Mine matches EXACTLY with the rears. I put 15% on the front two. The reason for going darker on the front is to compensate for all of the additional light that enters through the front windshield ...... its a perfect match.

Just happened upon this thread. Last week I had my fronts done to match the factory rears at 25%. It matches exactly....unless you are looking toward the front with the sunlight shining thru the front windshield.

I had 20% put on my front winders. Matches perfectly. But is also illegal here in Louisiana. I have trouble getting it inspected each year. Sometimes I will just pull up with my windows down and get lucky and they wont even check them.

I dont know about all you in your areas, but around here, I used to get bugged all the time about my tint when I used to be into the tuners (honda, acura, VW). Since I have gradumated and grown up to, for lack of a better term, "real" vehicles, I havent even gotten a dirty look from a cop!
