I have a significant leak in my windshield wiper fluid system somewhere. I can't see the exact spot, but it happens only when you attempt to spray the windows, so it must be in a hose/connection somewhere. It's very near the front, bottom of the reservoir...the fluid basically poors out of the front of the fender.

Anyone know how to access this area? I haven't crawled under in the snow to take a look yet, but I'm hoping it's something I can fix myself for free. Also, I'm thinking silicone should patch it up fine, but if you have any better suggestions let 'em fly.

Been in there twice.. Total pain in the ass. There are 2 pumps, and 2 hose lines that come up. YOu have to take out battery, battery tray, mess around with front driver side inner wheel well plastic.. it sucks. I had to replace the 2 lines that come off the pumps. as well as the pumps (Had a leaky battery, and destroyed everything)

FYI - the pumps you can get at autozone ($15 bucks) the hoses are a dealer item only and not cheap.

Dammit...not what I wanted to hear, but what I expected. It's all buried under the battery.

I just wish it would warm up a bit. It's currently about 15 with wind chills hitting -20. No thank you, not going to go tear apart the engine bay today....lol.

I don't blame you at all with those temps!! If and when you tear down to the pumps, if you rear wiper jumps everytime you turn on your fog lights, I'd look into doing the ground wire fix for it while you are at the pumps!!

Yeah - I have been in there twice.. I had to replace the lines, then 6 months later a pump went out.. Grrrrrrrr.. Yes, its a pain so wait until its warm... and when I did mine I broke both bolts holding the battery tray on.. Had to drill em out.

Damn the salt they use on the roads!

X2 on the pumps....the hose you can get there too, just have to cut it and re-route yourself, I believe it is 1/4" hose. I bought a reservoir from GM for $51 thinking that was the leak, but found out it was the rear pump....replaced reservoir, pumps, and lines, as I didn't want to go back in there after it being such as pain in the a$$.....Also, go ahead and get some new plastic plugs at an auto store too for the wheelwell inner lining, as I broke all of mine when removing.

Just an FYI, while doing this last weekend, I found a leak on top of the left front shock....I believe it to be the master cylinder, which I replaced yesterday....we'll see in a day or two.

Also - for what its worth - My autozone pumps are LOUD compared to stock, and one only lasted 6 months - I ended up replacing it with an OEM ... b/c I didnt want to have to keep replacing these pain in the ass pumps.

Look at the lines on top of the fender first..The rear wiper line on mine has popped off several times and it'll just pour out when trying to spray.. :)
