I have a 98 Yukon amd the wipers have been finicky since I bought it at first they worked on the appropriate settings and when you went to off they wouldn't stop at the bottom of the windshield they would stop wherever they wanted to. Now whenever I turn the wipers on they stay on no matter what there set at on constant low speed the only way to get them to stop is to shut off the truck. Is the motor bad? Bad circuit board? Ground maybe? Looking for suggestions sucks when I'm driving and it's barely raining and as soon as I turn on the wipers there on the rest of the ride lol

Check this out:

This may or may not be the problem with your wipers, but it cost almost nothing (soldering iron and 1/2 hour of time) to try before moving on to more expensive efforts. I put this off for almost two years and finally tried it and wish I'd done much sooner.

You can solder it or just buy a new wiper pulse module. Costed me $21 on amazon/ebay and got me a new part. Wipers work like the day the truck came from the factory and it was worth the $21 to know that its gonna work and keep working.

but its really your choice. if you're like me with no soldering wire or gun/torch then just get the pulse module.
