wiper motor under the hood cowl, a new one is $120 might want to visit the local junkyard and just grab a used oneToday my wipers decided to give me problems. They will only work on high speed. If I move the switch to any other position they shut off in no particular position. Does this sound like the wiper switch has gone bad ? Thanks
Where in the wiper system is there a blower? If the blower works on some speeds, but not on others, that can suggest that one or more of the resistor wires on the resistor block that controls the blower speed have failed. That assumes that you have a resistor block controlling the blower speed, but since I don't see any details for your truck, I cannot confirm if your truck uses a resistor block to control the blower speed.
Whoops!! My bad. I read wiper, and my brain interpreted it as HVAC blower. Brain f**t.Where in the wiper system is there a blower?
I wonder if that’s why my wipers only work on the slowest setting once I move it to a higher one then back down to the lowest, never noticed the problem until I replaced my multi function switch when I broke it slipping on ice lolI replaced the wiper motor today and it fixed the problem. I would have thought it was the switch on the steering column. Thanks for the advice.
