Wireless remote keypad to unlock vehicle without keyfob. Some say it may even fit inside the fuel door area?
Seems they are marked down for a while longer, but this needs programming.

I traded a 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4 to buy my new 2024 Tahoe Premier. The Expedtion had the keypad as standard equipment and it was one of the most useful features of that SUV. I already miss it and have wondered why GM doesn’t offer the feature as standard or optional equipment?

Once you have a vehicle with the feature, you will realize what a clever option it is.

I had the Ford keypad 20+ years ago and it was helpful.

GM clearly did not want to add these keypads because it would keep people from purchasing OnStar. But now with the wireless keyfobs, it is helpful to be able to lock the keyfob and other belongings in the vehicle.

The danger about locking the keyfob in the car, if someone breaks into the car, push the start button and they are gone, UNLESS using the keypad disables the keyfob until the vehicle is unlocked with the keypad. I wonder if someone thought all of this out?
