So I am trying to wire in 2 jl w6 with 2 jl 500/1 amps and was wondering how i should wire them together. Should i wire a remote ground and rca to both amp then run each amp to one sub or should i wire them in a series or what?

Run 0 gauge wire back to your amps. Use a distribution block to spit that into 2 sets of 4 gauge wires. Do this for positive and negative. They make distribution blocks that have both positive and negative sides that are fused. Just run one set of RCA wires from your head unit back to your amps and use a splitter to split them to each amp. Then wire one sub to one amp, and then do the same with the other amp and sub. I would use 12 gauge speaker wire. Run your power wires down one side of the truck and the RCA's along the other.
