Wiring question with harness

Hey I just removed my AC compressor an swapped in a bypass pully, an tore out the condenser an plumbing, but not the evaporater canister. Buy anyways I was wondering if I can cut my old ac and evap connectors an just tie them off? So they are not hanging there anymore.?
