Just a small significant. Well insignificant update after driving our truck like a grandma for a few weeks now. I finally had to step on the gas merging into traffic. I just want to say I like the small growl. I want mo' powa' haha and the pick up speed for such a tank is not to bad at all.

Thanks NRC.

Sorry guys I've been low key, been so busy w/ work!

Yesterday I took the truck in for it's first oil change, rotation, and inspection at the dealer, plus I got my $10 mail in rebate for the visit! ;) The front brakes were marked yellow by the tech, but I knew this going into the dealer. I'll be ordering new pads and rotors soon, I already have a break squeal and there's a groove on both driver and passenger rotors. I'll get the stocks measured & resurfaced ( if not below min. spec ) for the future brake job so I can alternate in between brake jobs.

I'll be ordering these.....if anyone has a had good experience w/ these that would be a plus? Feel free to chime in!

Cliffs: I was in a rush kind of, for the oil change, the day I went so I couldn't address somethings I've noticed w/ the truck, but I'll set an appointment for my following concerns.

  • when I come to a stop, and then take off I get a clunk. Even after 10secs of being stopped the clunk will occur.

  • the shocks or suspension squeaks at low speeds over bumps, and dips.

  • my vanity mirror hangs open when I use it to block sunlight

  • my remote start does not work when it's too cold ( threshold, IDK, below 50 degrees or 40's maybe. ).

Then today my buddy stopped by our shop and gave me this, off of his sold 'hoe, gonna research before I get too excited. My buddy said he had the following mods: a TB spacer, intake, exhaust and was getting 17+ MPG in the city. Also during his trip to sac. he states he was avg. 28mpg.

My my it has been a while since I was on here last. I've been doing a lot of other things and focusing on my business. Forgive me. Since the post above the superchip has made it's way to the garage as a paperweight, one day I'll take some time out to have it unlocked.

  • Had the clunk fixed. Extended warranty
  • Had Engine rebuilt at just over 1000hrs. Extended Warranty
  • Fixed vanity mirror with my garage remote. LOL
  • My remote start still works when it wants, but less frequently. I find it usually has trouble after my wife parks, then sets the ebrake on and incline vs. ebrake in neutral then park.

Just wanted to share some updates, or log some updates as I do with my vehicles. Latest mod, a few months old, some new shoes! I wanted to give the 'hoe a decent shoot before I post. Those pics to follow.

my buddy works at a tire shop, and got me a great deal. so I went the tire the truck had when purchased, we loved them - falken wildpeaks

And then..............the PHOTOSESH! A new camera so excuse my pics. It's a canon t3i, I got my daughter & myself for Christmas. Left canon temporarily, getting use to the settings of the canon on whim wasn't the wisest decision of the night. But, as you may notice I did decide to order caps!:happy160:
