God, so getting past the biblical and philosophical discussions of your user name and it validity after the accident, what have you found out about your vehicle so far? Any detailed pictures to discuss?

FINALLY got an estimate today. (i was hit by a rental vehicle insured by a school district insurace that doesnt know what they are doing,)

totals for estimate is $7000 and they valued my 2 dr yukon gt based on the average of 3 similar vehicles for sale averaged to $3800. I will negotiate this of course but not exactly sure how to. I have a new waterpump on it, 33" tires that are used but over $300 each new. Escalade rims... other small work I did myself. Plus how doI explain to them that it was a 2 TWO DOOR and because of that worth more :(((((

Also if the salvage price is low I will absolutly buy it back. I would like to know how hard it is to replace upper and lower control arms as that is what the estimate said was wrong with the suspension.

you could always sue them and get a judgement which they would pay...

Nego'd to $4300, bought her back for $250 :).

Ill upload pics of control arm damage later. Anything else you guys think I will need or should replace- should I do both sides? Gonna leave it beat up till i can source cheap body parts.

Also is there any manual, like a haynes manual that walksthrough the steps to replace front suspension parts because I would need that, and then I would Probably need those directions explained to me like I was 5 (never so much as removed a wheel).

Also Does a rough country lift include control arms? because maybe ill just buy a 6" lift kit instead idk.

as cool as that would be thats way too much work+ i'd need all the fab work, new wheels, tires, regear, etc too much money, and dont have a space to start that kind of project. would prefer to keep it a DD for now.

I thought God knows all and see's all....So why didn't you know the car was going to run the red light?

Just asking.
