I've had my Tahoe for about 6 months now. I am am able to connect with a USB cable without a problem.

The system seems to have WiFi, but it doesn't seem to connect to my Android Auto wirelessly. Is there a trick to it, or do I just need to get an an after market adapter for wireless?

Maybe the wifi is just a stat radio hotspot?

Thank you!

If you can get the AAWireless first edition for about $60 you get a wireless adapter for both CarPlay and Android Auto.

Wifi is something different. With Bluetooth on your phone enabled you should be able to pair it without adding any extra equipment.
If you can't use Android auto that way wirelessly you'll need the extra USB device.
