I have one made for an OBS vortec engine and im curious if you guys would be interested in a big 3 kit for newer vortecs? If I can find someone locally (or maybe someone on here could volunteer) I could measure how much wire id need for a nbs vortec and make up a few kits.

The kits would consist of 0g wire with ring terminals at both ends, labeled A B & C, and detailed directions with pictures. The kits would look almost exactly like this except 1 less wire:

The price would be $45 shipped.

If enough people are interested, im gonna sell my rims and buy enough wire and ring terminals to make 5 kits for each kind of engine on here. Let me know what you guys think.

They upgrade your existing wires. You can buy every thing seperate and do all the labor yourself, im just making things easier by putting together a kit. Lets just say I wish there was a kit around when I went to upgrade my big 3...

Taken from the12volt:

Performing a "Big 3" upgrade on your vehicle is one way to improve the electrical system performance and its ability to supply power to your audio system. This upgrade will help any vehicle using an after-market amplified stereo system, and most certainly should be performed on any vehicle after a high-output alternator is installed.

The "Big Three" upgrade means improving the current capacity of three cables: 1) alternator positive to battery positive, 2) battery negative to chassis, and 3) chassis to engine ground.

I would probably buy a kit, even though I am not sure which engine type I have.

I looked into doing the big 3 myself a couple weeks ago, and I figured a kit like this would save me the headache of trying to crimp the ends.

I'd buy a kit...like sirblade said it would save me the trouble and I can just throw it in.
If you do decide to get started on the kits send me PM cuz i'm not on here as much as I used to be lately

Does anybody want to volunteer to measure the distance from alt to battery, battery to chassis, and chassis to engine block? I'd greatly appreciate it. I have no way of doing this since I don't have access to a nbs vortec motor.
