My fuel pump went out on my '03 Yukon XL SLT, 5.3L Flex Fuel. I went on RockAuto and the OE pump that they specified was ACDelco MU1323 which I ordered and installed before I noticed there was a slight difference in the 4 pin square connector which includes +/- for the pump and +/- for the fuel level sender. The old pump had a white connector and the new pump was black. The vehicle side of the harness was white as well. Since I had already installed it I opted to shave the two little "ears" off of the pump/level sender connector which then allowed the connector from my harness to slide right on and latch. The connector for the fuel tank pressure sensor snapped right on though without modification though.

The pump works fine even up to WOT and resolved my no-start issue and the fuel gauge does work. But now I'm throwing P0452 (Fuel tank pressure sensor - low voltage) and P0446 (Evap vent control circuit). Neither of these were present before. So, obviously either I have an air leak, created during the process of dropping the tank and changing the pump... or the tank pressure sensor that was included on the ACDelco MU1323 module isn't right for my vehicle.

It seems that AC Delco fuel module part #88966963 would have been more appropriate for my application. Does anyone happen to know whether the fuel tank pressure sensor on AC Delco MU1323 would be appropriate/inappropriate for my vehicle? I plan to troubleshoot this for exactly what it likely is, an air leak in the evap system or tank, but if someone happens to know any specifics about the pressure sensor that would be helpful that might save me some time.

Im unhappy also. Ordered an exact replacement ACDelco and the fuel gauge only goes to half even when full. Pisses me off. Luckily that can be corrected in the tune but shouldn't have to be.
