I would imagine that it is a problem with your ballast. I have Hella off-road HID's on my Trail truck and have for years. These lights used to be very expensive, like $900 each.

Now a days you can pick up a HID conversion for $50.00. They are made fast and cheap in some foreign country. The HID's draw less power than a traditional bulb. If you swap the fuse out you could damage your truck or your wiring harness. I have seen the wire insulation melt from the extra heat and amperage, not for the HID's but for other accessories.

Swap your lights around, put the passenger ballast on the driver side with the drivers side bulb and see what happens, then swap out the bulbs. You should be able to nail down the problem.

I'm running 2 sets of from DDM tuning both are 4500K 35W. My low beam HIDs were installed for 28 days before I had my problem, which happened to be yesterday (the same day I installed my fog lights... I Guess it was just a fluke :( I'm getting a return and exchange on it for free, bad part is I have to wait 1-2 weeks

if you have fog hid's put the ballast from a fog on your lows so you don't look gay driving at night and just don't use the fogs for a couple weeks til the new ballast comes in.
