Y'all,
I've got a number of Yakima rack components I've used on different vehicles (Locking RailRider 1 towers on an AMC Eagle; 1A Raingutter towers on a '57 Chevy and an '86 BMW; crossbars, bike racks, load stops, etc.) and would like to install a pair of HD 72" tracks on my '13 Tahoe LTZ.
Has anyone done this? If so, any input on how it went (i.e. track fit to the curvature of the roof, fastener placement, etc.)?
To be clear, the stock rails and crossbars will be removed for this and the Yakima tracks installed in their place. I am not talking about using any combination of stock and Yakima components, which has been discussed in a number of existing threads.
Thanks,
Scrappy
