Went to visit my parents in Houston for the weekend. My dad has all kinds of tools, so I whipped out the sawsall and cut the bump stop brackets off. No more bottoming out! Feels so good. It was a little scary, had to watch out for the gas tank on the left side and on the right side I had to watch out for the coil spring, but I got her done. I've only got a 2/3 drop but I was always bottoming out, but no mas!

shorter bumpstops? well i actually trimmed mine down, but was still bottoming out. i figured it wouldn't be an issue on a 2/3 drop. but when i got aftermarket shocks in place of the nivomats, it went down another inch, so that was enough i guess to start bottoming out. i went on a test drive, hit some big speed bumps going pretty fast, and couldn't get it to bottom out after i removed the brackets, so it's good to go now. plenty of clearance

Cut mine and made a world of diff. But im lower. But helped alot.
