Yoke missing splines ?

This is the front off the rear driveshaft yoke is it missing a spline

no that is the master spline. if you look on the actual shaft you should see a wide spline that it goes on to. basically there only one way to install the driveshaft

Ok thanks a lot maybe you could help hard to get replies here sometimes I got a nasty clunk when I shift into reverse or from reverse to drive and when It downshifts from 2nd to 1st if I let off the gas and back on it again it's coming from the rear diff I played with the rear diff yoke I can move it up and down slightly and if I spin it back and forth there's play and clunking I was gunna replace the yoke but was told not too that the ring and pinion bearing is shot and diff needs rebuilt am I in denial? could this be it any input is greatly appreciated and is this expensive could I do it myself with a good DIY write up

Diffs are a thing few people can or know how do the right way. Ur yoke should spin a lil and that's it. There shouldn't be any up and down movement of the input shaft. I would look for a gud transfer or shop that knows rearends
