If you can get the bowtie off (even if you have to break it) you can cover the whole thing with a chrome aftermarket piece that is for the Yukon. All nice and smooth.

Hopefully the Tahoe one comes off fine. The Yukon piece has already been removed because my dad took off the lights and rear-view camera for a project. So it's just laying around in my dad's "Denali Room". lol. He has every interior piece out of that Denali in there.

Lol, the first sentence says Denali in it. Meaning the Denali panel is what I'm using. :D

Alright, so I found the piece in my dad's "Denali room" haha. His friend took it off without any care but it is still usable with some help. I never realized how big this piece is until I saw it by itself!

The white clips that secure it in place broke off, and some of the plastic that they slide into broke too.

Also, the square of plastic that goes around the rearview camera cracked and split, but no plastic broke off.

So, to fix this, I could use the clips off my Tahoe and put them on the applique, and either glue the broken plastic or just leave it, it's not that bad and nobody will see it anyways.

Do you guys think it would be worth it to paint it and put the applique on my truck?

Here's some pictures:

I say still use it, the inner bolt areas that broke are not needed, I ran mine with the outer two alone and am just fine!

Yeah it felt like it would fit fine. Plus the outer two are what remain on mine! Haha.

I'm taking it by my dad's body shop tomorrow (rather than his shop at home) to get it painted there, also they have the clips I am missing, so I might not get it until Wednesday. Which is fine, because I'll be installing the LED tails at the same time. :)
