Painting my yukon's headlight housing, and grille emblem

Ok, so i have looked all over the fourms, and seen black out and ,color matched head light housing. The problem i have, is that the blacked out one always smoked the amber reflector, and paint the reflective area of it black along with the turn signal area not safe!! at all and looks to out of place. With my headlamps i made it look like what i imagen if they came with black housing factory.

black lights

looks great, almost appears to be dark tint but not so. Still have original light out put. Good job.

How tough was it to split the lens from the back?

Thanks,Yeah look tinted but I don't like the smoked look on white cars, to be honest with a heat gun I felt it was really easy, we'll for me it was and it probably to me 5 min or lest to open each one up
