So I had to replace the driver side fog light bulb and I just purchased it at the dealer for $25.oo :uhoh2: So I'm going to install it myself later. Is this going to be really hard to do or is it very easy to replace the fog light bulb?

It is very easy. You just get on your back and unclip the bulb. Fortunately nothing has to be removed to get to this spot.

So I got it done yesterday and it was fairly easy. I just remove the little plastic clips and pull the wheel well cover back to get to the fog light. But here's where it got a little annoying. For some reason the old bulb was so rusted it took a long time to wedge out and I wanted to be very delicate with pulling it out and not damaging the fog harness(hope I use the right word). But once I popped in the new one it was smooth sailing. Glad this wasnt too hard because I hated having one fog light working.

Did you just get factory incandescent bulbs? I put a PnP HID kit in my escalade's fog housing and one just went out. Debating if I want to put stock lights, hid lights, or led's...

Yeah I purchased the dealer bulb. Those third party bulbs alway blow out for no reason. I've always had that issue with my other cars putting in third party bulbs. :word:

I had LED's in my 08 Tahoe that never went out. It looked great but virtually useless as they did not help light up the road at all. Purely for looks basically... I put the hid kit in my Esky fogs and they went out in a few months. Simply unacceptable.

I'm leaning towards getting those projectors headlights and I guess throwing in the HID kit. Do you think it's worth it or stick with factories?

eBay projectors or a proper retrofit projector? Hopefully a retrofit projector. I think you should do it! It's on my future mod list as well..
