They had a study on one of hidplanet's thread with lights from 3000k-10000 and came out finding that 4300 isn't any better than say a 6 or 8k visibility wise... Wish I could find the damn thread... I really need to start bookmarking things ..

not quite sure what you mean when you say 4300K is no better than 8k "visibility wise". OEM 4300K has a higher luminous flux and a higher color rendering index, These are measures of lighting performance and make it better for automotive lighting applications.

But to each his own, if he likes 6000K he likes 6000k
