Hey everyone, I just got a 2003 GMC Yukon Denali, it has the navigation and Bose audio system, no DVD player. I have a problem where the radio keeps rebooting and the volume surges up and down. Anyone have any experience with this? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Check your power wire and your ground.... lose connections make that radio go bonkers. Also check for bent and broken pins in your vehicle's harness. .. i.e bcm harness located under center console, amo harness located in the center console, radio harness, and ignition harness. ... good luck... electrical fault finding is a PIA

you might want to check the amp too, if i remember correctly, the Denalis have the bose "lux" amp and that is what controls the volume as opposed to the head unit.

Thanks guys, It did seem to be a loose wire, although I did not tape anything or rewire anything back behind the headunit, I took it on a drive down a bumpy road and all was good, have been driving the past few days with no problems. Thanks for the help guys i'm excited to get more involved in the forum it is a great place for information
