I have a 2016 GMC Yukon. The taillights quit working so I bought some new led ones from Amazon but they are for a Tahoe. A Tahoe has 4 wires and the Yukon has 6. Has anyone else been able to do a swap to make them work. The only this that works is the flashers reverse light and the main light when it’s dark. The blinkers and brake light do not work. Please any help would be appreciated! Attached are the new ones.

Probably more headache than it’s worth. But this thread might give you some input on crossing vehicle wires

Somewhere in the post it says he gets turn signals from tapping into front headlights and run them all the way to the tail lights.

edit:
There are also harnesses that kind of mimic this

they convert 6 wire lights to 4 pin trailer connectors. Which is kind of exactly the situation you’re in right now. You could probably wire the converter behind the light and do it that way. Google 6 wire to 4 pin trailer converter

Strongly agree with @Tonyv__ above.

You got them from Amazon right? Can you not just simply box them back up and return them and just purchase the correct tail lights for your Yukon?
